Samaritan Jo Clematis Clematis Samaritan Jo (Evipo075 PPAF) is a very striking clematis with the pointy sepals and the pink margins. It flowers for 6 months and will reach heights of around 4 feet.

Delicate and light in a way that almost seems to perfect for this world, the Samaritan Jo Clematis is an ethereal beauty that is sure to lift the spirits of all who gaze upon its flowers. One of the longest flowering Clematis in our gardens, from late spring into fall Samaritan Jo features abundant flowers with pristine silvery-white pointed petals with a purple picotee edge and soft green bars surrounding a tuft of yellow-tipped deep purple anthers.

Samaritan Jo Clematis Clematis Samaritan Jo Evipo075 a large has silver white flowers with purple and green accents. Samaritan Jo can also flower in semi-double form randomly (not many clematis do this). Flower type can be single, semi-double and dully double.

Samaritan Jo Clematis is a stunning and rewarding plant for a garden location or for growing in a container for the deck garden, patio or outdoor dining area. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds dna beneficial pollinators.

This Clematis is easy to grow in a moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and full sun to part shade. Heavy clay soil shoul be amended to ensure good drainage.

The Samaritan Jo Clematis is ideal for growing on a short trellis or fence, obelisk, mailbox post and other structures. Also a fine selection for growing in pots, planters or tubs that can be situated on patios, decks and around other outdoor living spaces where the flowers can be viewed from close up. A fine addition to cut flower gardens and cottage gardens.

They are easy to prune because you do not need to maintain any old wood. In February or March, cut each stem to a height of 1 or 2 feet. Although you will be removing good stems and buds, this treatment keeps these vigorous growers in bounds. If not pruned, these vines will quickly become a mass of old diseased woody stems producing very few flowers.
