Variegated Confederate Jasmine Variegated Confederate Jasmine vine (variegated star jasmine or Trachelospermum jasminoides variegated) has flat petals, not twisted into a groove as a similar Confederate Jasmine Vine. Also variegated confederate jasmine has leaves with deep green, creamy yellow and white colors.

Flowers of variegated confederate jasmine vine has the same strong orange-blossom scent as confederate jasmine one.

The Variegated Confederate Satr Jasmine is a fast growing evergreen flowering vine that produces abundant clusters of highly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers from spring through early summer. Due to the brightly variegated white, yellow, and green leaves the flowers aren't quite as noticeable on this variety as they are on the green leave varieties, but the flowers are just as fragrant and you get the foliage that will brighten up your garden year round.

Variegated Confederate Star-Jasmine is a fine choice for the garden, but it is also a good selection for planting in outdoor pots and containers. Because of its spreading habit of growth, it is ideally suited for use as a 'spiller' in the 'spiller-thriller-filler' container combination; plant it near the edges where it can spill gracefully over the pot. It is even sizeable enough that it can be grown alone in a suitable container.

Variegated Confederate Star Jasmine vine is ideal for use to climb along the top of fences, on a trellis, on a mailbox, or over an arbor, arch or any other structure that will support this magnificent fragrant vine. It can also be useful as a ground cover for slopes or embankments. To better and more often enjoy the wonderful fragrance, make sure to plant this one near windows or outdoor living spaces.

This vine responds well to pruning or shearing for shaping purposes or to limit size, but avoid pruning prior to the flowering season or you will cut off the flower buds.
